And lots of it.
And I would like to take this opportunity to thank the great british weather, sunny as I leave the house to walk the dog, 2 seconds down the road after the dog makes it evident he is in fact walking me, the heavens open.
After the hassle of gettin the dog out of the house, wrestling his harness on through his bouncing, running and spinning...It is too late to turn back.
So, we trudge on to the field. If by now you can call it a field. 2 days of flash showers have left it more like something you would expect to see scantly clad women wrestling in, but alas I wasnt in my wrestling bikini so I just walked the dog. While i got wetter and colder and grumpier, he got faster and happier. He LOVES the rain, which is odd cos he hates water in any other form!
We get home, cold wet and covered in mud (him more than me), and shortly thereafter the house! He runs and rolls and rolls and runs. Kindly drying himself off on all our soft furnishings. Before going out into the garden, gettin wet and muddy again, and repeating the exercise all over again.
So now, I have to go and shower and get warm again!
